EXPERIENCE

Work — Since 2013, Claudia’s therapeutic experience has spanned across multiple levels of treatment care (partial hospitalization and outpatient), focusing on treating adolescents, adults and families struggling with eating disorders, disordered eating patterns, substance abuse, trauma, gender identity, depression, anxiety and personality disorders. Claudia has worked at CLARE Foundation (substance abuse and co-occurring mood disorders), Eating Disorder Center of California (eating disorder and co-occurring mood disorders), Kaiser Permanente Chemical Dependency Recovery Program (substance abuse and co-occurring mood disorders), and Center For Discovery (eating disorder and co-occurring mood disorders).

In 2017, Claudia opened her private practice in Culver City, CA, where she works with teens and adults struggling with eating disorder, disordered eating, fatphobia, depression, anxiety, trauma and life transitions. She aims to create a nonjudgmental, affirming and plant-filled space where teens and adults can feel safe exploring the concerns that brought them to therapy.

Claudia also serves as adjunct faculty member in the Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology. She enjoys giving back to her community by supporting new clinicians in their journey to become therapists.
